The blog will collect and group information about corruption cases with the involvement of former and current state officials. The information will be published and archived. The blog will serve as Armenian Corruption Wikipedia. The trial of the case of the beneficiary of “Veles” NGO Zina Melikyan will be heard on 24.07.2018, at 11:00 am, at the Criminal Court of Appeal.

Today, organized by the “Veles” human rights NGO, a roundtable discussion was held which was aimed at presenting proposals on combating usury. During the discussion, the attendees talked on the legal gaps revealed during the investigation of usury-related cases and also on ways of their elimination. They touched upon the circumstance that results in usury as a means of corruption and money laundering, as well as upon some effective means to struggle against them.
